The Maritime Alliance

The mission of The Maritime Alliance is "Promoting Blue Tech & Blue Jobs". The
non-profit The Maritime Alliance is the cluster organizer for the San Diego maritime technology community and fosters maritime business and technology innovation through collaboration around the U.S. and the world.

Who We Are

As The Security Network (TSN) was organizing the San Diego defense/security sector and looking at maritime security, it discovered that San Diego is a major maritime technology center reaching far beyond maritime security. In January 2007, we organized The Maritime Alliance (TMA), formerly the Center for Maritime Systems and Security, to focus on “Promoting Blue Tech & Blue Jobs”. The goals of TMA are to organize the San Diego maritime technology community as a formal cluster and to reach out nationally/internationally to promote development/rapid adoption of innovative maritime technologies and collaborative business opportunities. TMA is administered by The Security Network.
