Bellamare manufactures and commercializes remotely operated vehicles that can be customized to carry a variety of client’s specific payloads. Bellamare’s ISIIS towed vehicles have been specifically designed for plankton imaging and are used for fisheries research, marine biology and environmental impact assessment . Nearly 50 years ago, with the creation of the San Diego Unified Port District, the State of California entrusted the Port to protect and develop nearly 6,000 acres of tide and submerged lands along San Diego Bay through a regional governance approach.
